Alixa Flexibility is a progressive & proven syllabus designed to teach flexibility safely & effectively.
Our program focuses on:

  • Step-by-step progressions
  • Strength to control flexibility
  • Correct alignment to help protect against injuries
  • Good body awareness & mobility
  • Improving students who struggle to progress
  • Balancing & protecting hyper-mobility

The emphasis is on student safety and flexibility is carefully developed for long term health.

We offer classes just for boys, in addition to all our regular classes which they are welcome to join too. Styles include hip hop and street funk.

Combination classes are available to younger students (up to age 13) to broaden their exposure to different styles of dance. Students in a ballet/tap/jazz combo class experience a little bit of everything all in one afternoon of dancing fun!

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students’ technique by focussing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. With the use of an exercise ball, the students gain a great sense of posture and weight-placement whilst feeling each correct muscle group working throughout each exercise, which then stays with them when whilst performing in dance or their chosen field of sport

PBT focuses on core strength, weight placement and alignment of the body with a gradual approach of carefully designed exercises and repetitions of these exercises that trigger their muscle memory.

We offer all kinds of awesome summer camps.  In 2022 we held an Acro intensive, a Disney/Pixar camp, a Circus Camp, a Broadway Bound camp, and a Popstars camp.  We also had classes for pre-ballet and little boys.
